Alternatives for Girls, an area organization that supports girls and young women who are experiencing homelessness and other risks avoid early pregnancy and exploitation through special resources and programming, hosted its 2025 Role Model Celebration on March 6 at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in honor of International Women’s Day. The event, which is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, was emceed by Hilary Golston of Fox 2 and included food, drink, and both live and silent auction as it put a spotlight on the achievements of women in the community.
