The Macon Thomas Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen Inc. hosted its inaugural scholarship luncheon on March 22, 2025, at Hope United Methodist Church. The event, which attracted approximately 100 guests, featured guest speaker Maj. Gen. Robert Smith, the highest ranking military officer in Michigan, and honored Lt. Col. Harry Stewart, the original Top Gun Winner and red tail pilot, as well as area high school seniors who earned scholarships through the organization. Learn more at tuskegeeairmen.org.
